My name is Rory and I’ve reclaimed my health using three simple tools;

While my health is a work in progress, I feel better than I have since I was a teenager. I have a beautiful husband and a puppy who is full of energy, I train at the gym five days a week, I run, I work my dream job in Washington DC during the day and by night I work on The Paleo PI. I also take Spanish classes and play in kickball and dodgeball teams. I like to think that I lead a pretty full life which is supported by a bedrock of good health, which I’ve worked hard at. But this wasn’t always the case…

During my late teenage years I contracted mononucleosis which in turn turned into rosacea, ocular rosacea, bloating, lethargy, depression and a number of food intolerances. My health was in a downwards spiral and despite visiting a laundry list of specialists and GPs, nothing they prescribed or suggested helped. I knew if I was to reclaim my health I would have to put in the work myself. Serendipitously, not long after I came across  Dr Terry Wahls famous TED talk and my life changed for the better.

While it didn’t happen overnight, I slowly reclaimed my health using the aforementioned tools. Slowly but surely, I’ve refined my Nutrition, Lifestyle and Mindset which in turn has helped me to heal and to live life to the fullest.
